DocEM processes personal data — including WhatsApp phone numbers, messages and delivery information — on behalf of the real estate brokerage or property manager you deal with. That brokerage controls your data.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, email us at the address below with the name of your brokerage and the phone number or email address the data relates to.
We confirm receipt within 2 business days and, together with your brokerage, delete personal data that the brokerage is not legally required to retain. Canadian real estate and anti-money-laundering law requires some transaction records to be kept for a fixed period.
To stop receiving WhatsApp messages at any time, reply STOP to any message.
When a brokerage disconnects
When a brokerage disconnects its WhatsApp Business Account from DocEM, DocEM's access to that account ends immediately.
